A day reunited with my chh.. A day where Banii and Mocha finally gets to see each other! A day full of meaningful gossips… A happy day for me! *teeehehe*
Thankiuk CHH for driving all the way from her place to my place…… *hugs hugs* Sometimes… its just really hard to choose a place to have lunch especially if you have too many choices. *wuahaha*
We finally settled down at Xian Ding Wei.. a taiwanese restaurant… Say hello to Mocha and Banii*

They have this special set lunch promotion for around RM 13.90++ to RM 15.90++

I had this sesame oil porkie set lunch..

The porkie itself is ok.. but the leaves all around.. u saw that right.. they tasted like perfume…
i din finish it bcoz i don feel like eating perfume pork. hehe!

The set lunch comes with a bowl of soup, side dish, selected milk tea, ur main dish and a bowl of rice of coz..

Top up RM 2 and u can get a minced pork rice…

The side dish…. we had fish ball, pickles and eggie..

oh.. i like it when u mashed the egg yolk into the minced pork rice. Awesomeness!

As for CHH, she had the vinegar squid set lunch….

Squid is fresh and overall tasted good

My eating partner… CHH aka Annna *loves*

and our Mocha and Banii….!!
We had our lunch from 11.30 to 2.30pm!! HOHOHOHOHO!! and after our fulfilling lunch..
we went to go shopping… din really get to buy a lot but at least we shopped sincerely di. teeehehe!

And for the ending… we ended up at Jusco with this. AWW!! give me more give me more!

Ever since i had my last pho in Melbourne, i am always on my go to hunt for another bowl of shimmering saporous pho. I have been looking around for a nice and decent vietnamese cuisine restaurant and somehow out of no where as i was browsing through some food blog… i saw a lot of positive comments on this particular vietnamese restaurant at sunway pyramid.
Oviet, just next to Dragon-I.
Very comfy and elegant environment right?
And… well.. i m not sure isit bcoz its weekdays.. the restaurant is kinda empty… XD
We ordered this Fresh Summer Rolls. Known as “Nem Saigon” RM 9.90. Nem Saigon is also known as one of the very common appetizer among the vietnamese cuisine..
Traditional Mixed Beef Noodles “Pho Bo Oac Biet” RM 15.90
And normally they will serve you this as side dish to eat together with pho.
I prefer not to add too much Mint leaves into it or else the original taste of the stew beef will deteriorate.
My comment is…. 4/10 Only. SOBS!!! I miss the one in Melbourne!! *help*
Another non-vietnamese cuisine related food is…. Spaghetti with Lemongrass lamb in Cream Sauce RM 23.90
The lemongrass grilled lamb is superb.. but the sauce.. HMMM!! its not creamy right? its some kind of egg sauce.
However… At least i have a taste of what people recommended.. Not very nice… and at the same time it reflect how perfect the pho in Melbourne is. HOHOHOHOHOHO!
Anyway… i ended the makan session with Durian Pancake as Dessert!! RM 7.90
Mamamia!! The cream is tooo thick and…. I still prefer the one at the Kiosks at The Gardens’ Mall! *roarrr*
AND… OMG! my pics are super YELLOWISH!!!! i shud be more rajin and edit. hahahaha!!

Finally its another ARGH dinner.. but this time.. its at KL! *wooots*
Although things are kinda rush but… we still enjoyed ourselves and the time being together.. oh.. especially the 5,10,15. HAHAHAHAHA *loves*
We did a lot of last minutes shopping and hoho.. break a lot of records such as rushing to buy clothes when the shop is closing.. and… duno who.. bought like 5 pairs of shoes in.. less then 3 hours? and… and.. a lot lah!!

Our favourite shop… *Forever 21* Our record as u can see : 6 dresses worth around RM600 in 15 minutes. Even until the shop closed.
and… 10 pairs of shoes… in.. well.. don dare to tell. *nyek nyek* the power of girls! to be precise.. ARGH! love u all! *muah muah*
Its around 10.30pm when we had our dinner…

La Bodega will be the place.
Its like a casual lounge and restaurant?

Clockwise, Ahlost had Melon, Pineapple and Orange juice RM18, I had Sex on the beach RM22 and Anna had Margaritas RM25. Gladys had Ginger beer at RM9 but the pic is rather blur so.. huhuhuhu!

We had Cold, roast lamb salad for sharing. RM 15. There are rare roast lamb, croutons, cherry tomato, mint and apple salad which made a great combination in ur mouth!!

To chew the cold roast lamb with the mint leaves and the dressings… olala! Juicy. I like it sweet and tender.. and the refreshing bits of the mint leaves with a lil extra crunchiness of the roasted croutons! *nom nom nom*

Ahlost had this Chilli Linguine Aglio E Olio with hamachi fish, preserved lemon and grilled zucchini. RM 26

I personally dont really like the hamachi fish and preserved lemon. Agreed with lostling.. when u are munching the noodles.. there will be a sudden attack of the sourish if u accidentally bite the preserved lemon. hohoho! But still.. for lostling and Dysling.. everything with tabasco sauce is perfect. haha!

Dys ordered Penne Puttanesca with gilled mediterranean vegetables. RM 20. Precisely, the penne is served with spicy homemade tomato sauce with olives, capers, anchovies, grilled eggplant and grilled zucchini served with shaved parmesan.

This is definately too salty for everyone’s preferance. TOO salty……!! but i love the eggplant tho. hohohohohoho!

Next up will be mine. Saffron Angel Hair with pumpkin and lamb meatballs! RM28. Lamb meatballs!! *drools* I m not a big fans of angel hair but since they don have fettuccine.. so.. just go with it lur…

Saffron angel hair pasta (sweet and creamy) with roasted pumpkin (i love pumpkin in creamy pasta because somehow it will help to adjust the taste) Kalamata olives (ohhh.. i hate olives *screamm*) and spicy lamb meatballs in a rich creamy sauce (the meatballs are great and very flavouring.. althought its not that spicy but.. still… i cant resist the temptation of juicy meatballs)

Annna’s Spaghetti Ramazetti with grilled chicken in a mustard cream sauce tossed with rocket salad. RM 26. Soi enought, the waiter forgot to take this order so this hungry chh have to wait until 11.30 only then the food is served.

Acording to her.. not too bad.. the mustard sauce is not too flavouring but the grilled chicken was great.
The overall dining experience was not too bad and we voted the best dish on the cold, roast lamb salad! teehehehe!!

not forgetting the ARGH!! oops.. thats the G

Heres the R and G

A and H. hohohohohohohoho! Don ask me why i m H. theres a story behind. *grin*

and happily eating us! *nom nom nom*
AFter the ARGH dinner.. we went to Weissbrau which is just opposite Labodega…

We tried out the 3 different types of German Beer..

From left to right… Franziskaner Dunkel RM 22, Leffe Blond RM 29, Erdinger Dunkel RM 22.
ARGH is great!!! more cute photos with RoseLing so i just have to wait for hers. hehehehehehe!!! Oh.. when is the next one!! Overseas? HoHoHoHo!

Remembered i went to KL for my marathon with ahlost?? *nyek nyek* Actually we had marathoned marathon after the marathon. kakakaka! We rested for like 2 hours and we are all ready for the second eating marathon to Seremban and Malacca….

Off to Seremban.. they brought us to this Famous Siew Bao place…

Not only they have the siew bao.. they have lotsa other pastries like.. egg tart..

different kinds of tarts..

and even cakes and buns.. Throughout the whole buying process there.. the selling of siew bao never stops neh…!!!

This is how good their business is!!! and happy chh holding her items of victory! hohoHo!

Everyone carrys a pack of famous siew bao!! right right!!!

and.. i think i still have some in my fridge. huhuhuhu! guess it knot be eaten anymore.
After siew bao session.. Kelson wanted to bring us to this famous beef noodle shop…..

BUT… T.T *sobs sobs*

So.. we headed straight to Malacca!!

Oh wait.. let the guys pose!

We passed by this red building before we reached Jonker Street!!
I m so excited!!! Afterall.. this is my first time there and.. i have heard so many things about chicken rice ball.. asam laksa… durian cendol…. satay celup! omg omg…!!
So here we are… in Jonker Street.. u know what.. i think the best things that attracts me the most is still the little shopping thingy.. they have all kinds of booth and crafts and so on.. ahhhh! i m so in love!!!

Our first station… “Long Feng Ge” where we will have our durian cendol and asam laksa!!

Durian cendol and Mango cendol…. HMMMMMMMM! After waiting for like.. so long.. for me.. its just so-so. I think the durian cendol at Kuching near CHMSNo.4 is so much better. huhuhu!

Nyonya Laksa….! It looks as if its very heavy but surprisingly its not. =)

Nyonya laksa served with all those fried tempura.. therefore when u take a bite of it.. the tempura is actually crunchy but juicy in the inside with a slight aroma of the nyonya laksa… *yum*
Next up.. we have this Asam Laksa…!

LET ME TELL U… the Asam Laksa is awesome….!! No offend but i think i like this one more than those i had in Penang…! awwwww… *heaven* Its not too sour its not too salty.. just nice with a glimpse of sweetness. Perfect.

And yes.. the soup is just nice.. not too thickening.. and focused on the fried garlic and onion on top.. Lets say i love Asam Laksa! :3 (CHH’s fav pose)

Rendang Chicken Noodle…

The noodle is slightly different from those two.. its more towards the thin cut noodle.. As for Rendang wise.. spicy enough.. i like it.. the meat is tender yet juicy.. soft enough even if u use the spoon to press on the meat.. the meat will jus come out from the bone. olala!
And lastly we have this Fried Wantan for sharing…!

I like to dip in the Asam Laksa soup! *kakakak*
After our late lunch… We proceed to our shopping agenda..

Putt Zai Gou!! so cute right.. they have different flavour for u to choose from..

as for me.. i choose red bean coconut…!!!

bcoz it sounds more appetizing. hehehehee!!

and the three of us! *muah*
And so… three of us spend extremely a lot in Jonker street… from all the bracelets to necklace.. all sorts of stuff… We can really get a great deal there…!!! Too bad.. we don really have enough time to explore the whole Jonker Street.. We only went till half… sobs! i promise i will be back for more. kakaka!
Our next station.. the Famous Satay Celup!!!

Guess what.. its famous.. so you have to queue for it… Imagine so many ppl are willing to queue up for it!!

They claimed that they don have branch.. so.. its the authentic one i believed!

Posing while queuing. Not bad right.. a good way to pass time. kekekek!

After a while.. its finally our turn!!!

LOOK!!! everyone is rushing to grab some “lok Lok”

CHH u are going to the wrong table! hahahaha!

Our table..

They will provide a pot of basic satay soup….

and so fast before u even notice it.. the tauke will come to u with two big pots of… their special homemade ingredient.

The dark colour one will be their own home made spices while the lighter colour one is something like.. grated peanuts and dried grated coconut..

I must say.. the tauke is soo generous to our table…. i duno how many scoops he had added but when i was queuing.. i saw he added like.. 3 scoops per table but for us…

WOW…… doubled i guess!!!!!!

The tauke stirred the satay paste for us… Oh.. they actually will come to ur table time to time to stir the paste jus in case it all sinked down and burnt. hehehehe!

Ready to pop something inside!

Annna the “anti-satay sauce” tried her first satay celup bcoz she got no choice.. everything is satay sauce. hehehe

This is how our satay celup looked like…
i can say the best “lok lok” for satay celup will be tempura-based “lok lok” means the fried one.. bcoz they can actually hold the paste into the “lok Lok”. So u can taste the combination of the satay celup more in depth! HAHAHAHAH!!!!

Don tell me you never eat satay.. Satay Celup is basically just like a steamboat but instead of soup… its satay paste inside. So.. everything u dipped in… it will taste like Satay. *nyek nyek*
