One of the best food we had in KK was from here.. New York New York.. its hidden somewhere in 1Borneo Shopping Mall… somewhere near Secret Recipe.. Wow.. i remembered we had a hard time looking for it. =)

Even Fen Hong Zhu was exhausted by the time we found this place!!!

The lighting was too orangey don u think so, emo FHZ?
We started off with these two tasty bowl of soups…

We have Roasted Mushroom Cappuccino priced at RM 6.90 and Fishermen’s Clam Chowder, RM 9.90. Both are chef recommended. I personally love both but more in love with the Fishermen’s Clam Chowder!!

Spaghetti Aglio Olio with Mushrooms.. RM 15.90. Rose’s favourite.. i mean.. all times favourite.

hehehe! Well.. i believed it would be better if they have more chilli flakes on it, dont u think so? ^^

My Spaghetti Bolognese with Giant Meatballs.. RM 21.90. Not too sweet… and the flavor of the meat is just nice…

Not to say the Giant meatballs!! i can finish only ONE… The magic of the meatballs are.. although its so huge.. the meat is still very tender and juicy. Most of the meatballs if you have to make it this size.. it will either too dry at the outer layer coz it took longer time to cook it or.. the inside part is not fully cooked. But surprisingly for this one.. not a problem at all!

Penne Mushrooms Alfredo with Roasted CHicken.. RM 25.90 I personally will suggest everyone to giv it a try on this one.. especially the roasted chicken….! *yum yum* i’ll prefer this one over my spaghetti for sure. =)

Fettuccine Alfredo with Fish Fillet.. i forgotten to note down the price of this one. sobs!! but if were to refer to the chicken fillet.. its around RM 19.90. Correct me if i m wrong. =)

Apart from that we have this Mini Cheese Fondue for sharing.. RM 12.90. Too cheesy for me.. but i love the brinjal. =)

The cheesee… hmm.. i wonder how many of u will actually scoop the cheese and eat it. hohoho!
After all the dishes.. its time for the MAIN ENTREE of the day!!

GIANT YANKEE CHICKEN BURGER!!! RM 43.90!!!!

Did they include the whole chicken in the burger?? *grin*

Just merely look at the size!!!! the burger itself is bigger than the spaghetti plate. oh my oh my

Bigger than my head of coz..!!

Mine and FHZ to be precise. hehehehee!!

FHZ solo with the humongous burger!

Not only that.. look at the amount of the fries!!! how many packets of McDsss???!

Everyone wants a piece of it!!!

Oh look!! tell me how can i not love the burger!! i jus cant stop eating the meat!! how can it be so juicy!!! Every bite is like a bit of the soft and tender drumstick.. *yumm yummmmm*

Have some ppl? Its at G-838. REMEMBER!

Remembered i went to KL for my marathon with ahlost?? *nyek nyek* Actually we had marathoned marathon after the marathon. kakakaka! We rested for like 2 hours and we are all ready for the second eating marathon to Seremban and Malacca….

Off to Seremban.. they brought us to this Famous Siew Bao place…

Not only they have the siew bao.. they have lotsa other pastries like.. egg tart..

different kinds of tarts..

and even cakes and buns.. Throughout the whole buying process there.. the selling of siew bao never stops neh…!!!

This is how good their business is!!! and happy chh holding her items of victory! hohoHo!

Everyone carrys a pack of famous siew bao!! right right!!!

and.. i think i still have some in my fridge. huhuhuhu! guess it knot be eaten anymore.
After siew bao session.. Kelson wanted to bring us to this famous beef noodle shop…..

BUT… T.T *sobs sobs*

So.. we headed straight to Malacca!!

Oh wait.. let the guys pose!

We passed by this red building before we reached Jonker Street!!
I m so excited!!! Afterall.. this is my first time there and.. i have heard so many things about chicken rice ball.. asam laksa… durian cendol…. satay celup! omg omg…!!
So here we are… in Jonker Street.. u know what.. i think the best things that attracts me the most is still the little shopping thingy.. they have all kinds of booth and crafts and so on.. ahhhh! i m so in love!!!

Our first station… “Long Feng Ge” where we will have our durian cendol and asam laksa!!

Durian cendol and Mango cendol…. HMMMMMMMM! After waiting for like.. so long.. for me.. its just so-so. I think the durian cendol at Kuching near CHMSNo.4 is so much better. huhuhu!

Nyonya Laksa….! It looks as if its very heavy but surprisingly its not. =)

Nyonya laksa served with all those fried tempura.. therefore when u take a bite of it.. the tempura is actually crunchy but juicy in the inside with a slight aroma of the nyonya laksa… *yum*
Next up.. we have this Asam Laksa…!

LET ME TELL U… the Asam Laksa is awesome….!! No offend but i think i like this one more than those i had in Penang…! awwwww… *heaven* Its not too sour its not too salty.. just nice with a glimpse of sweetness. Perfect.

And yes.. the soup is just nice.. not too thickening.. and focused on the fried garlic and onion on top.. Lets say i love Asam Laksa! :3 (CHH’s fav pose)

Rendang Chicken Noodle…

The noodle is slightly different from those two.. its more towards the thin cut noodle.. As for Rendang wise.. spicy enough.. i like it.. the meat is tender yet juicy.. soft enough even if u use the spoon to press on the meat.. the meat will jus come out from the bone. olala!
And lastly we have this Fried Wantan for sharing…!

I like to dip in the Asam Laksa soup! *kakakak*
After our late lunch… We proceed to our shopping agenda..

Putt Zai Gou!! so cute right.. they have different flavour for u to choose from..

as for me.. i choose red bean coconut…!!!

bcoz it sounds more appetizing. hehehehee!!

and the three of us! *muah*
And so… three of us spend extremely a lot in Jonker street… from all the bracelets to necklace.. all sorts of stuff… We can really get a great deal there…!!! Too bad.. we don really have enough time to explore the whole Jonker Street.. We only went till half… sobs! i promise i will be back for more. kakaka!
Our next station.. the Famous Satay Celup!!!

Guess what.. its famous.. so you have to queue for it… Imagine so many ppl are willing to queue up for it!!

They claimed that they don have branch.. so.. its the authentic one i believed!

Posing while queuing. Not bad right.. a good way to pass time. kekekek!

After a while.. its finally our turn!!!

LOOK!!! everyone is rushing to grab some “lok Lok”

CHH u are going to the wrong table! hahahaha!

Our table..

They will provide a pot of basic satay soup….

and so fast before u even notice it.. the tauke will come to u with two big pots of… their special homemade ingredient.

The dark colour one will be their own home made spices while the lighter colour one is something like.. grated peanuts and dried grated coconut..

I must say.. the tauke is soo generous to our table…. i duno how many scoops he had added but when i was queuing.. i saw he added like.. 3 scoops per table but for us…

WOW…… doubled i guess!!!!!!

The tauke stirred the satay paste for us… Oh.. they actually will come to ur table time to time to stir the paste jus in case it all sinked down and burnt. hehehehe!

Ready to pop something inside!

Annna the “anti-satay sauce” tried her first satay celup bcoz she got no choice.. everything is satay sauce. hehehe

This is how our satay celup looked like…
i can say the best “lok lok” for satay celup will be tempura-based “lok lok” means the fried one.. bcoz they can actually hold the paste into the “lok Lok”. So u can taste the combination of the satay celup more in depth! HAHAHAHAH!!!!

Don tell me you never eat satay.. Satay Celup is basically just like a steamboat but instead of soup… its satay paste inside. So.. everything u dipped in… it will taste like Satay. *nyek nyek*

HELLO PPL… I M BACK to BLOGGING FINALLY! sorry was missing in action for weeks coz of coz personal reason nah~ teehehehe!
We just came back from KK, apart from being extremely tanned and roasted… we have tried all the famous must-try food/dishes. Some were extremely satisfying.. some were jus so-so.
And this so far the best we had in KK. Twinsky Seafood!

We din go for the famous Ocean Seafood Village bcoz we heard thats extremely expensive coz its one of the main tourist attraction. But.. mayb ill giv it a try next time. *teehehe*

So this twinsky seafood restaurant share similar concept of Ocean Seafood Village.. they have big tanks of seafood swimming around waiting to be eaten….!
Some unique one really caught my attention.. know wad??

This one! Don ask me to translate to english.. i duno. huhuhu! oh.. btw. its kinda a prawn species!

Lai niu ha~ Oh.. so pity…….. i wanted to try this one but… not everyone can take seafood.. so.. haih! next time lah. i will definitely goin back for more.unique.seafood.

for clams lovers.. oh oh oh! *drools*

and lobsters!

And this is wad that carries the crowd!!!

6 of us and our humble menu.

We managed to settle ourselves at the air-con area. lucky us! And we had the local sweet coconut which compliment best with the seafood.

Clam soup…! One word.. SWEET!

and it taste way better than it look. Its not that oily like wad u see in the pic tho. its sweet and fresh…

Steamed prawns.. The best way to portray the best essence of the seafood is by using the simplest style of cooking. And the result. SWEET and juicy. imagine!

Look at the tiny eyes of them. oh… so cute.. the best dish for me i would say

Another family of the clam..!

Honey chicken.. at first i was kinda confused why they ordered chicken while we were feasting for seafood.. but was totally wrong when i took the first bite of it. *nom nom nom* i swear its yummydelicious!! i wan more i wan more!! crispy from the outside.. juicy inside.

Crabby!

The boss recommended this.. egg yolk crabby.

No regret for trying this. Every single part of the crabby.. even the skinny tiny leg of it is full covered with the egg yolk!! wow!! impressive can! crab lovers like me.. i melted!
Next were the green..

We had kalian.. jus so so…

and… sabah vege they called… so so.. i guess the vege there just werent as impressive as their meat and seafood. hohoho!

Oh.. b4 we leave.. mr.jf n mr.stevo agreed to order another dish… beeehooon.. randomly.. i duno why but it taste good!
