Kuching Festival 2014

Kuching Festival is one of the culture and local festival that people in Kuching will look forward to. Its like a food fair but its not only open for the food vendors but also anyone who is interested to share and sell their own recipe. So it also means that some of the food is only available once in a year. Kuching Festival is normally held between July and August and it lasts for one month. Theres around 100 stalls in the Kuching Fest but we have new stuff coming out almost every year.. But i wont deny that 80% of the food ideas are copied from Taiwan. Hahahahahaha! Thats True Story!

DSC05180So this year, they came out with a new name for the Kuching Festival. Its called The People’s Fair. Hmmm… will need to get used to it for a while. So today i’ll share with you the stalls available in Kuching Fest 2014. Next Blog will only be the food okie? 😀

Tips for going to Kuching Fest : If you have phobia towards crowded places like me, go at or before 5pm… if you go around 5pm.. normally its less crowded, there enough seats and when the sky is still bright, you can take more pics. Hehehe! But if you like the rubbing shoulders experiences, go as late as 8pm onwards. Its packed with peopleeee!

This is the lovely bright sky that i love. Less people.. more air to breathe. Hehehe!

DSC04986I think i’ll just let the photos to do the talking? Some of the stalls available in Kuching Fest 2014. *be prepare with the overloading photos* Enjoy!

So that day we stayed until 7pm… because earlier on theres some drizzling so the whole food hunting journey got delayed. Anyway.. good thing is… i can show you the crowd at 7pm. Thats the crowd that i fear the most.. and you guess it right.. my parents and i left at 7pm after these photos. 😀

Love the English signs. Amazeballs. So Good So Juicy. I don’t know what they are, but the sign makes me laugh.
