The another part of Bali : Nusa Dua Travel Guide

As compared to Kuta and Ubud, Nusa Dua is considered a less popular area in Bali. Nusa Dua caters for people who opt for a more relaxing and carefree trip. Most of the resorts have their own private beach for their guests. You won’t feel empty or bored even if you just stay in the resort for days, they have everything you needed for a holiday. People often choose Nusa Dua as their wedding location as well. I guess I went through around 5 or 6 wedding receptions in just over the weekend along that stretch of white sandy beach. For people who opt for a cheaper price range of accommodation with compatible environment minus the private beach, you can always follow my suggestions. We can go to the public beach, they are as gorgeous as well.

Where to stay in Nusa Dua?

Amaroossa Suite, Nusa Dua — Executive Suite RM250 +-

dsc06310Not the perfect location but it’s definitely worth the value. A very new and comfortable hotel suite for everyone.

dsc06183 dsc06185 dsc06190 dsc06191 We chose the executive suite. Love every inch of the room especially the spacious and luxurious bathroom.

dsc06294_p dsc06305There’s a shared pool beside the reception lobby. Not the biggest but enough for you to do your swimming. We went to beach most of the time in Bali anyway right?

dsc06306Location wise, you might need to grab a taxi to travel. There are some convenience stores around for some necessities and beers.

Nusa Dua Beach

dsc06218 dsc06241_p dsc06244 dsc06256_pIn less than a 10 minute drive from Amaroossa Suite is the Nusa Dua beach. You don’t need much here, just enjoy yourselves, indulge in the beautiful scenery, grab a beer, read a book, get a sun tan or whatever you feel like doing.

dsc06235_pI had a half an hour nap at the beach after taking this picture. Hohoho!

Explore the place : Night Market and Mall

It’s a free and easy trip, we spent just two nights in Nusa Dua wandering around the place without any plans. A cab driver suggested a night market and we settled down for dinner. Nothing much to pace around though.

dsc06268 We settled our dinner with one of the famous Indonesian food — The Bakso

dsc06270-tileNot the best one but definitely authentic. I love it more when you add the crackers or crispy pork lard thing. There are just on the table, grab anyhow you want and add them in your bakso.

dsc06276Scrumptious!

dsc06290I don’t exactly remember how and where we wandered and we came across this mall called Hardys Mall. You get everything you want here from clothings, electronics appliances, food, souvenirs, paintings, plants or even raw materials.

dsc06281_pOh hi!

Nothing caught my attention except this!

dsc06289Oh my! Strawberry cheesecake ice cream!

dsc06314_pTo be honest, it’s bored to death very boring here in Nusa Dua unless you just want to lay on the beach the whole day and enjoy the resorts. I can’t wait to go to Kuta area!! Nothing makes me happy in Nusa Dua except for our suite room and the strawberry cheesecake ice cream… darn! Moral of the story : Get a really good resort like Clud Med, Sofitel Luxury Villa, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel, The Laguna and The Westin those if you want to enjoy Nusa Dua.
