Melbourne : The Pancake Parlour

I dreamt of Pancake last night…! HUhuhu! Its only until just now that i realised i dint blog out my yummmilicious pancake at Melbourne months ago.. so Obviously… this why i m here!! Blogging about something which is super duper outdated! hahhahaha!

Anson brought me to The Pancake Parlour at Glen Wavery.. which is FARRRR away from town.. Well.. if not mistaken theres one near either Lonsdale or Swanston Street why i forgotten why i went so far for it.. but good oso lah.. can discover new places ma..! *kekekeke*

There have plenty of choices on how u wasn to eat ur pancake…! from breakfast to supper.. sweet to savoury. main course to desserts.. everything!! *price range from $10 - $30*

Anson suggested we try both sweet and salty… so here we go..

My Country Breakfast Pancake!! $16.90!! (which is RM 42.25 for this delicious breakfast! T.T)

Two Buttermilk pancakes, juicy bacons, grilled tomatoes, garlic buttered mushrooms, two free range eggies, served with whipped butter and maple syrup!!

Sweet pancake we have Chocolate Strawberry Jubilee!! $16.50!!!

I m not a sweet tooth so anson let me have the breakfast!! so nice of him!!!

And as USUAL.. the portion is freaking BIG!!! It make sense how i can gain 5 KG in just a month in Melbourne! *hmpf*

i duno why anson don like the egg yolk!! and i m too full of finish that oso.. so kesian ~

Where can i get this in Malaysia?!!!! Pancake Parlour pls pls Open a branch here??!!! huhuhuhu!! i wan pancake i wan pancake.. Might just try my luck at Paddington Pancake at KL next week! huhu T.T

I am run out of things to blog..! huhhuhu! Yeah.. forgive me for going back to my melbourne story. teehehe!

ANyone loves chocolates?? choc choc anyone?!

HUHUHU! i believe almost everyone LOVES choc.. but guess i am the odd one. i don fancy choc..i don fancy anything related to choc. Even choc cake. hehe! weird hor..  I only take ferrero roche and Blueno.. but still… not too fancy about it. hehe..

But everyone told me MAX BRENNER is a must try in Australia. Well.. i decided to giv it a try.. It was awesome.. to many people.. its like heaven.. i agree.. just that i m not the chocolate-kind-of-person. teehehehe!

I went to the one located at Melbourne Central. Its small.. but its always crowded.

This guy named Max Brenner. kakaka!

There are basically two specials thAT you have to try.

First… Chocolate HUG MUG. Its perfect during winter or any cold weather.

The reason why its called hug mug is because the mug is designed for your hand to hug it. teehehe! nice right!

They have few types of choc for you to choose. “Dark Choc, White Choc, Milk Choc, Dark-Orange choc, Reduced-Calorie Choc.

I had Milk Choc and ANson had Dark Choc. Dark Choc is so much nicer.

I m safisfied with my hug mug because i m feeling so so so so COLD

so you try to mixed it by adding choc into it. Its definitely a good choice of drinks when you are having a chit chat time with your friends. huhuhu! coz the candle will keep your choc warm HOT all the time.

The outcome…. well.. leave it to your imagination. *lalala*

Other than that.. they have fabulous dessert.

I seriously LOVE this one.. FRUITY TOOTHY! *addicted*

and this one is awesome for choc lovers.. COZ…

The choc inside the cake will gush out.. *just like brownies with choc sauce.. just that this one.. the choc is scary a lot* and in there is even melted white choc in the center of the cake!

How does it taste? DOUBLED CHOC! too choc-ty! hahahaha

For those who love chocolate. You wont want to miss it.

Melbourne : Limors Flame Grill & Bar

Cut it short. I am kinda lazy to edit my pics now but at the same time not sleepy at all.. so just update a very short post about some good food in Melbourne!! *teehehe*

Once upon a time Anson brought me to a French Restaurant ( i m not very sure if its a French Restaurant after i saw the webbie but i was told it is. ) called Limors Flame Grill & Bar.

Nice interior i know. ^^

And.. there’s someone singing nice songs for us too! *nyek nyek* Anson say theres once a man proposed to his Gf there. Wow.. i think its nice too.. but too bad Anson’s friend make fool of the man. kekeke!

The menu..

Anson compliment us with his Red Wine. HUHU!! but i kinda numb already coz i just went to winery with anson before the dinner!!!

French Salad. Hmm.. i HATE OLIVES… eeeuuuw!!!!!

Oh Oh oh oh!! This is mainly what we;ve ordered.

KEKEKEKE!! I KNOW ITS FREAKING BIG PORTION.. i m not sure how many ppl this is for but five of us cannot really finish it!!!

FYI. U.S baby ribs, chicken&meat sharshliks, chicken wings, kebabs, continental sausages, chicken ribs, chicken schnitzel, lamb cutlets, plus a French Salad and a plate of French Fries.

Myself, Anson, Mervyn, Max and Grace *Oh.. i made new friends there too! keke*

We have 5 to finish it up!! and the guys are all bloated after the meals.. Sometimes.. i think the portion in aussie is kinda too shocking and scary.. T.T

The portion of Malaysian western food is like their leftover only.. do u agree! *but i prefer the portion here so so so much*

Melbourne: Build-a-bear-workshop

Evey ask me about the build-a-bear-workshop thingy when we were having lunch at Hilton last weekend… and it actually give me something to blog about!! *nyek nyek*

SO this BUILD-A-BEAR-WORKSHOP is in Chadstone.. Well.. there is a shutter bus provided for the tourist to go to Chadstone but its only available during morning time.. so as for late-”wakers” like me… its a little bit troublesome but still.. easy. Take a train from Flinders street station to Cranbourne station.. or any stop which will then take you to Hughesdale.. YES.. stop at hughesdale..!! Take a tram 767 if not mistaken… not so remember already and the tram will take you directly to Chadstone. OH.. leave a day for Chadstone because half day is simply not enough.

The concept of the shop is actually to personalise soft-toys.. mainly bears for their love one.. According to the shop assistant.. parents are always their main customers as they usually come here to customize bears for their daughters and so on.. For special occasion such as birthdays and valentines day of coz!! ^^

Its kinda special to me because i never seen these things before.. there are a few section.. Here comes..

1.) CHOOSE ME

Yes.. choose me is the first step.. means choose a bear SKIN for you liking.. they are plenty of them.. ranging from AUD 15 to AUD 45… just for the SKIN!

Oh.. yala yala i know..there is skin for hello kitties and doggies as well.. teeehehehe!!

It says.. “build-a-bear-workshop” ma.. so of coz i chooseee… A BEAR SKIN

Teeehehehe!! SO CUTE!!!!

Yes.. you are done with choosing a skin.. F.Y.I.. mine is AUD 15

2.) HEAR ME

Second stage is hear me.. means you can either record your own voice.. your own message to your loves one or you can choose the standard voice..

To record you own voice and message.. you have got 10 seconds.. and its AUD 15.. you can record and delete.. record and delete until you are satisfied with it… as for standard voice.. such as the messages like.. i miss you.. i love you.. happy birthday.. and so on is AUD 5.

After you are decided.. or you are done with all ur sweet recordings.. you can wave to the shop assistant and they will guide you to stage 3!!

3.) STUFF ME

YEs!!! the bear skin have to be stuffed with COTTON now!!!! teehehehe! OH… the whole *aquarium* of soft cotton rolling!

So before you stuff the cotton into the bear skin.. they will help you to place the recording into the bear’s hand!

ANd here you go..stuff with cotton.. you can make your bear full of cotton.. make it hard like a wood.. or you can just lessen the cotton and make it softer.. the shop assistant will request you to step on the paddle.. (the paddle controls the flowing of the cotton to the bear’s body).. Well.. they let you cuddle the bear time by time to test the comfy-ness of your ideal bear bear!

When the stuffing is done.. you pick a red heart from the box.. make a wish.. and the shop assistant will ask you to stuff it in the bear before they help you to knit the bear. they say the red heart represent the bear’s heart and what you wish for your loves one.. euuww… how sweeet!!

So this is my bear!! weehehehehehe!! now she is firm.. YES.. its a she.. i made her a she!

4.) DRESS ME

Next you have to dress her up.. they are plenty of dresss.. costume and everything.. shoes.. hand bags.. hat.. roller skate.. wadever you need it.. they’ve got it!!! The price of the clothing per piece is ranging from AUD 10 to AUD 25. I wanna cut cost on these so i just buy her a dress..

(For a complete set for female bears.. they have got pom pom dress.. different kinda costume.. underwear.. socks.. fairy tale cute accessories.. shoes.. and many other) I only get her a simple dress!!

They then have dressing rooms for your bear.. you can take your time with your bears trying out all the outfits and dress!! how cool!!

Oh.. undecided! (but i still got her one.. teehehhe)

5.) NAME ME

AFter you have dress your bear up.. its time to register it.. give her a name and identity! They are making the bear a BIRTH CERT!!!!

huhu!! and of coz.. have to key in the owner’s particulars as well.. so when the bear is lost.. someone happen to find it.. they can just send back to the shop and they will acknowledge the owner. =)

ANDDD… TADA!!!!!

6.) TAKE ME HOME

Stage 6 is the happiest.. You pay and you bring the bear home!! How sweet!

She finally has an owner.. ooh!! perhaps two!

Extra: in case of the budget.. to have a fully dressed and accessoried bear.. the price range will go to maximum AUD 70. =)

AUD 70= RM 175…. *shit.. its still super expensive for such a tiny bear…*

BUT..its the thoughts that counts!!

Its fully customised and there is only one of that in the world..!
