Yien’s Recipe : Beer Steak

I say i’ll make it and i did! =D

Beer Steak! its specially for u hor.. Oh.. mayb i shud make Sarsi Steak next time! weee.. =)

So here’s what you need for Beer Steak. 

Heineken Beer, Steak of coz.. i use beef, Onion and Garlic, Potatoes (for mashed potatoes)

Well.. the cooking show says heineken so i just used heineken lor.. its western style ma.. and please dont use henessy, tiger beer or even Guiness.. (Argh! i duno how to spell can).. coz accordingly.. it is very BITTER.

So here we start ya! Stir fry the steak first so that the juice wont leak. Stir fry onion and garlic separately and pour in the BEER. half of it will do.. depends la… if u like BEER. hahaha.. if its too bitter for u.. add in some BBQ sauce.. (used HUNT’s one better).. i added coz BEER is too bitter for me.. or mayb i add too much. hohoho! and after it boiled, add in beloved steak. (i marinated with soy sauce, sugar and pepper b4 that)

As for mashpotatoes, boiled it, add fresh milk, butter and some pepper and salt will do! =)

If you like it medium cook the make it medium cook.. if u wan it well done.. then make it well done. =)

Well.. i personally like lamb more so i think it will be better in lamb! hehehehe!!

Yien’s Recipe : Spaghetti!

Randomness.. i woke up at 1pm sth.. Oh.. another Sunday.. Suppose to go shopping by lao mao kinda busy with her assignment so everything canceled.. No food at home.. No plan going out.. so i decided to make myself a long long time no-cook spaghetti. =) Make use of everything i have at home lor. 

I m sure everyone noes how to cook spaghetti la hor.. its such a common dish for girls.. It’s owes popular as the girl’s “first-time-know-how-to-cook” dish. hahahahaha! rite? so i assume everyone noes and therefore.. no nid to write down the process la. Tehehehehe!

I don have any cocktail sausage left coz the last 3 batang i gave it to Dupy last few days di.. haih!! i forgottten! So the only thing i’ve got in my fridge will be button mushroom, mince beef and onion! hahaha! pity eh! Here’s some ingredient u nid, Puree, tomato, kicap, sugar… hmm.. and pamersan cheese.. OH! don forget basil leave! it makes the difference. =D

Cook Cook Cook.. a lot of process i forgot to put hor.. coz was busy stir-frying ma.. huhu!

And.. TADAAAA!!!!

eeehehehehehe!! i love mushroom can.. =)

Here’s my breakfast, lunch and dinner!!! It surely be great if there’s a bowl of creamy mushroom soup! Oh Gosh!! i m goona make it for my next SEAFOOD spaghetti..!! PrOmise!! jus few days later!! hahahaa!

Oh.. before consuming any food.. mummy cut me a plate of mango!! weeeeeeeeeee! My favouriteeeee!!! Look how jUicy it is..!!! *GRIIIINN*

Ok next up will be my mummy’s BAO. She made BAO for the first time in her life. hahahaha! and its darn nice lah! can u see it can u see it?????????

Hmm.. not much things to post recently coz i didnt go anywhere.. but stay tune! today is mooncake fest! i’ll be goin to friendship garden with the busy assignment girl and pik qii!!! hahaha!!

Yien’s Recipe : Sio Bi

Oh.. i think theres some problems in my  laptop.. or line.. not sure.. but haih… i just cant reply in the chatter box.. *sobx*

Anyway.. because of that… i have spent hours fixing and figuring out the problems until i did not really update my blog.. but since the problems are not yet fixed and i dunno how to fixed.. perhaps.. just leave it there first and go to update my blog.. heheheh!

Oh.. today i m goin to share my own recipe.. Sio BI.. haha.. actually is my first trail on sio bi la.. i never made sio bi in my entire life before..

Ookiees! its saturday and i m goin to make sio bi!!!! weeeheheheheh!!! well.. there’s basically no specific skin for sio bi in sarawak so i just replace it with dumplings skin.. HoHoHo!

Start!

First.. prepare some mince pork of coz.. prawn chopped til “mian mian” in small pieces.. water chestnuts and onions in small cubes.. a pinch of chopped ginger, a lil salt, a lil sugar, a lil egg white.. mixed well.. add in a lil corn flour.. mixed well again.. then lastly add in a lil fragrant oil or sesame oil.And thats how it looks like…

Ok.. lets wrapped! when wrapped.. remember to use a spoon to slightly press the meat on the surface so that it wil come out firm.. ^^ put some carrot for garnish.. egg yolk better!

Ok.. here’s some sample i have made.. oops.. u  noe.. i cant buy the round type of skins so i use the square one and it turns out got the sharp sharp pointed angle … the one i use pink circle to circled it.. haha!! so if u are able to buy the round skin.. there will be no this kind of problems.. weehehehe!

Ok everything is done..put to steam.. you shoud put a french loaf’s paper underneath the sio bi so that it wont stick on the plate.. but i don have it so i just let it stick lo.. haha!

After 5 minutes.. its done! weeeeheheheheheh!!

Doesnt look so pretty but still ok la! haha! weell.. my comment for my first time trail sio bi.. this recipe i got it online.. so.. Hmm.. i should say it dont taste like sio bi lo!!! Maybe Foreigner duno how sio bi taste like so the recipe don taste liek sio bi!

It taste more like dumplings! because as all of our beloved sarawakian noes.. Sio Bi’s meat is quite hard and very Q but what i have made the meat is too soft.. but delicious of course.. hehehe! and the skin is too soft as well.. everything here is too soft la.. but if it is not a Sio Bi.. it taste incredible nice.. coz the meat is nice! weeehehe!! hahahahhahaahahha.. no comment liao… sobx! it jus look like a very soft sio bi!
