Happy Birthday Chia Shin @ Simplicious Kuching

A random monday.. A random whatsapp.. A random arrangement.. A random date.. and it turn out to be a wonderful pre-birthday celebration. Its a very simple random pre-bday celebration because i will be out of kuching for the whole week next. Our first venue is Big Oven.. but it was closed. Second venue to Fusion Grill.. but.. closed.. third option all the way to the beginning — Simplicious and thank God its open.

We ordered honey dew juice (RM 6.50), Carrot Juice (RM 6.50) and Iced Chocolate (RM

As for starter.. We ordered fish umai (RM 12)

and “today’s special — Roasted Duck Salad” I personally love the salad.

Beef Sausages, Sirloin and Mushroom Aglio Olio (RM 26)

The Grilled Lamb Shoulder is a blast too… either with garlic sauce

or mushroom sauce.. everyone loves it (RM 28)

Lao mao finally came with a muscle man.. and oh well.. she ordered this Roasted Chix Salad (RM 13) and.. all the boring greens which is not in the menu because they purposely ask the chef to do it…so i dint take pic of it.. =.= hahahhaha!

I think we are either too excited or nervous.. the ice chocolate…. well… =.=

After a while.. we went to pik qii house to mingle around..

Having brain jam now.. so.. let the pictures talk..

Happy Birthday again.. you are 24 already. Muahahahahaha!

A Busy March

I am busy. I am very busy. I am extremely busy. ARGHH!!

March is a busy month this year.. I neglected so many things.. Sorry bloggie as you can see… i have to set you aside for a little while

I started to pick up having breakfast everyday!!

Not only breakfast but.. BIG BREAKFAST!!

These 2 days without breakfast is like… so suffering! Omg omg omg!

I am breakfast addicted. Teehehe!

These two months i have been eating out very frequent.. i then found my three favourite makan makan place…

1. Imperial Duck…

Not only the roasted duck is a blast..

Mango duck and noodles are my favourite tooo!!!

2. Taiwan Siao Jou

When i feel guilty of eating so many good food.. i will opt for this! *nom nom nom* butter chicken and Taufu i love!

3. Pinoy Ihaw Ihaw

Delicious Food with reasonable price.. Always the best choice

Oh.. one more important thing…! I start to pick up chocolate as well!! Slowly… but of coz.. chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream all those are still not acceptable yet. Teeehehehe!

I am currently rushing this HongKong drama called <鱼跃在花见之朝>.. Its all about the story related to Sushi.. I am so rushing over this drama because i will end up craving for Japanese food every time i watched the movie! So i have to finish the drama FAST.

I have been like having two Japanese dinner in 4 days.. =.=

Paused a while for food.. March is a mourning month for the World as well.. Just merely a few weeks.. there are like 3 natural disasters running over already..

A 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Christchurch on the 22 February 2011. A 5.4 magnitude earthequake in Southwest China on the 10 March 2011 and recently a heavy one.. a 8.9 magnitude earthquake strikes off Japan on the 11 March 2011 and worse to the worst it triggered a Tsunami that caused major death toll and effected Honolulu and many other countries. A day later.. theres an explosion on those nuclear plant.. they are trying to save it now… Everyday when you flip the newspaper or browse through the updates in CNN.. non of it is a good news.. Is the world coming to the end soon?

Okay.. take a break from all the bad news.. i turned 24 last month…!!

And a good sunday for me.. I got 2 lovely gifts!!

Delicious @ 1U, KL

My 24th Birthday is a peaceful one.. Spent the actual day at KL with my family for lun’s convo as well.

We went to this cafe called Delicious. Ya i know.. its all around KL.

Love the environment.. Love the people.. Its perfect for birthday dinner

Its my first time here.. and since i was the birthday queen for that particular day.. i get to order for everyone.

Mango, Lychee and Kaffir Blast.. RM 9.90

Thai Cooler.. RM 9.90

Root Beer Float.. RM 8.90

For Starter.. we had Spicy Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dressing.. RM 14.90

I still prefer the Spicy Buffalo wings from Chillis but this one is slightly different as they use Blue Cheese Dressing instead of the normal sour cream.. Well.. Love it as well.

Oh.. i forgot to mention i bought this lebbit with me too XD

Thai Crab Meat with aromatic herbs, spices and olive oil.. RM 24.90

Look at the generous amount of crab meat.. Its a lil bit sour in flavour and the combination of herbs and spices definitely pull up the whole plate of linguine!! We can finish this in seconds!

And the Mains for the night is…

Duck Confit with charred potato, mushrooms, sauerkraut and mustard cream sauce.. RM 32.90

Highly recommended by me.. or.. everyone in my table.. they served the whole juicy drumstick of the duck.. tossed with perfectly charred potatoes and mushrooms.. a mouthful of those potatoes is enough to make you smile..

Not yet not yet.. poured down the entire cup of mustard cream sauce.. uhlala.. theres too much to say.. be there and try it tonight ok?

Last one.. Seriously Delicious Cheeseburger.. No No.. the name is call “Seriously Delicious Cheeseburger”.. RM 24.90.

The portion was alright but as compared to all the food i had this evening.. this is the least impressive. I’ll go for Jack Daniel’s Burger at TGI Friday tho.

Before the dinner ends, my lovely brother pulled me out to choose for desserts!!

Pavlova definitely caught my attention.. not to say with all those strawberries on top!! Oh.. not forgetting the shredded chocolate.. *YUM*

It was so pretty i cant really take my eyes off the Pavlova…

Pavlova as my Birthday cake this year?? Such a good idea! Thankiuk papa mama and ah lun..

Oh.. and keren also *shy*

I think i had more than half the Pavlova myself!

Christmas Lighting Ceremony @ Pullman Kuching

December is Christmas Month

Another Christmas Month with the Lings and the XL size Xmas Tree in Pullman Kuching

Oh… and our Alicia!!!

This year, Pullman Kuching is organizing the Christmas Lighting Ceremony with 50 children from Kuching Autistic Association, Salvation Army and Sarawak Association for the Welfare of Intellectually Disabled Children.

Apart from that.. for the whole month of the Christmas Month, Pullman Kuching will be displaying goodies for sale such as the Christmas Ornaments, bookmarks, greeting cards, Christmas stars and many more price ranging between RM 1- RM 30. So if you feel like doing some good deeds.. you can purchase the goodies from the Christmas Tree!!

Oh.. yes yes. This is the Christmas Tree i am talking about. And Pullman Kuching call it “The Magical Xmas Tree” !! *loves*

So after the Xmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Children.. everyone was given a ginger bread man cookies!!

Not everyone got theirs because the crowd is too big. Guess who didnt get it?

NAH.. just kidding.. we all got ours in the end. kakaka!

And.. soon.. followed by the Christmas Caroling.

At the same time.. we grab our gears and took every opportunity to snap as much pictures as we can..

Oh.. yea.. i mean.. snap pictures of our own. hahaha!

We actually enjoyed setting timer and get crazy under the Magical Xmas Tree while the people at the first floor see us as some crazy camwhoring ladies. hahaha!
