Village Fast Food - Food Tasting

Ahlost!! u r not the last one to post… i m! hahahahaha!!!

LAST YEAR…. we had a blogger gathering and food tasting event organized by the Village Fast Food, Green Bento and Eat Ok. Thanks to Caroline Wee, the tauke nio of Green Bento.. Uncle Francis and our annabella wong for the everything!!! hehe!

The gang and i arrived pretty early that day.. and while waiting for rose, jf and eve.. we decided to camwhore dulu!! hehehehhee!

Ok.. so here come the first dish.. Hot and sour soup..

In my opinion.. the soup is not sour enuf lor…

Nestum Fish Fillet

This one is alright.. Fish is soft as well!

Butter Prawn!!

Hmm.. how to say hor.. as compared to our normal butter prawn.. i think it dont have that buttery taste lor..

Next.. Nyonya sweet and sour chicken

Ahh.. this one arh.. actually this one is very nice.. the chicken meat is soft… but hor.. it doesnt taste like nyonya sweet and sour chicken.. i think if its called ASAM chicken.. it will be prefect!! *nyek*

4 combo vegetable…!

depends on ur own preferences lo.. some ppl like crunchy vege.. some prefer soft one.. this one is CRUNCHY!

Fish and Chips!

According to Caroline.. there’s beer in it.. hmm.. i duno leh.. i like the side dish

Fried Mee Sua Cangkuk Manis

OH!!!!!! PLEASE ask JF and TIM and TING for the taste… *grin*

Lastly.. we have grilled beef steak

They provide us with 3 different sauce!! amazing rite? got pepper, mushroom and brown sauce.. i like the brown sauce more… ^^

Apart from Food tasting.. we have some quizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz going on.. ah Ting got the most expensive free kayaking prize!! woots! i wan i wan!

Food @ KL (2/2)

Oooh.. 2008 is going to end.. so as wad ahlost say.. nid to post all the 2008 stuff by today! wuahahaha! so make it all brief..

After the pavilion food we had.. i move on to mid valley! I owes go there.. but i never really shop the whole place yet.. wuakaka! the most common place u can get the food is from Food Bazaar…

So here’s the mango ice my bro had…

Oh..before that… i went over b4 Christmas.. so as promise.. must show some christmas trees la hor..

I think it look the same every year… *huhu*

Moving on.. we went to the famous Kim Gary.. Well. i went to Kim Gary almost every visit to KL.. coz the food is cheezy and the price is very reasonable.. but hor.. this trip i m gonna have soupy dish all the way thru it.. haih!

My soupy pork chop noodle in soup!!!! Haih!!!

There’s a place called little taiwan at Sungei Wang which i personally would not recommend you to go.. the price is almost like what you will get at Kim Gary.. the drinks are far more extremely expensive.. and the food is NOT impressive at all…. I mean it.

Mummy got this sour plum juice which taste just ok with papa’s watermelon juice which doesnt really taste so good..

My bro got this red tea which the ice is more than the tea. Papa got another drink called blue coral which is actually just champagne milk tea with extra sugar!

BUT.. they got nice beef noodles! hehee

1Utama! Oh.. my stomach is feeling better so i started to take SOLID food.. haha.. We dine at Only MEE. which the service is good but the choice of food is limited.

I had this honey roasted chicken.. nice! but the portion too big o..

wuahaha! um hou yi si ar.. i m not feeling well so i better use my shade to cover up my pale face lo hor. *lala*

Last but not least.. a very recommended place for BAK KUT TEH! Its situated just by the road side of Chow Kit Road.. very nice one i tell u.. the portion is super a lot and it only cost like RM 9 per person excluding rice!

It doesnt look so nice but it taste very nice!

Food @ KL (1/2)

i decided to update my KL post first as there are too many outdated posts which tmot and the gang has updated! wuakaka!

I went over to KL last few days for a very very quick shopping spree.. just a very quick and rush one.. and somemore i was not in the very good condition.. shortly.. means i sick lah.. so didnt really enjoy the whole shopping spree. the worst thing.. i cant eat all the nice nice food.. all my meals are soup-based.. hoho! but hor.. i get to see my papa, mama and my bro eating NICE food la.., not too bad.. i bought a lot of stuff! *nyek*

Oh.. one thing to comment.. the Pak Nasir nasi lemak doesnt look as delicious as the posters or u prefer to call it illustration.

Oh.. i played sudoku to kill my time.. its really bored on the plane hor.. hor.. hor..

We stayed at Hotel NOVA! OMG!! i got a post specially for the hotel.. not to compliment la hor.. its the opposite of it. Stay tune! *wuakaka* anyhow.. we reached Kl kinda early so heres my first soupy dish at Jalan Alor..

So first station we went to Pavilion! Pavilion has a lot of nice food though!! Christmas “is” coming so we got big christmass tree..

and… duno wad is it called. haha!

For my lunch… i had porriadge! Oh.. i really love the porriadge there!

Another favourite is the John King Durian Egg Tart!! wooots!! fabulous i tell u!! Must try hor!! *restricted for durian lovers only*

Next on.. J co Donuts!! my bro and i nearly waited for almost half an hour for our turn.. well.. it really taste better.. i mean if compared to Big Apple and Dunkin donuts..! i got some chocolate flavours one.. one tiramisu one.. garlic and cheese as well as BANANA choc! *wuakaka*

But still.. my very very favourite will be the wong kok restaurant! woots! the deco is nice!!

As for Papa..look at his drinks!! its called “gentleman”.. so cute!! nice nice! i slurp a lil.. just a lil la hor.. and his food.. honey roasted pork chop.

For mama.. her hot temptation.. something like that.. its actually yam with lotsa kind of ice creams.. according to her.. her love it up and down. with her food.. honey roasted spare ribs.. oh.. i just realised they love honey roasted so much! Huhuhu

My bro.. he had banacranberry juice! Superb in the eyes of banana lovers! and his food.. cheesebaked pumpkin! omg!! cheesebake..!!! so drooling can!!!

how i wish i can have that… *sobx**

look at those tall tall drinks.. so not fair! i m drinking hot chinese tea only neh!

Oyster Buffet~!

Wuahahaha! Here come the post of my favourite oyster buffet!! Oyster oyster oyster!!!!! *pa, next time bring u go* muahahaha………!

As what i have expected.. oyster buffet should have lotsa oysterssss!!TADA!

The raw and creamy oysters… *drools*

And my very favourite… Cheese baked oyster with bacon.. wow! i think they refill it every 5 mins.. u can imagine how ppl crave for that!

There is variety of food… and people as wel.. thats y most of the food is hungrily craved and scooped so it makes the presentation of the food… hmm.. UGLY.. thats y i din take much pictures of all the food available.. but stil.. there is still some *winks*
